EMPOWER TRUST in Tiruchirappalli district is worth mentioning of doing excellent work in awakening people at grassroot level, creating innovative programmes and providing revolutionary awareness to women, children, youth and aged through fine arts, supplementary teaching to school going students, skill development programmes and servicing aged people. They conduct both separate and collective programmes. I attended a few programmes as a guest and recognized it as a rare phenomenon which could not be found elsewhere. The children are encouraged, motivated at different levels and as a result, they feel, performed well in the school. They become very confident due to the special approach by the Managing Trustee, who is highly knowledgeable. Perhaps because of her casual and polite behavior, people are very affirmative about the programme especially women empowerment through skill development, academic discussion, welfare programmes particularly for aged and children. People also voluntarily involved as animators and teachers. They celebrated World Environment Day by doing tree plantation with children involvement. I am told children prefer to learn yoga, after celebrating International Yoga Day. All these are wonderful, great and excellent. As a Senior Academician, I wholeheartedly wish them grand success and fame in future.

The EMPOWER TRUST is doing a wonderful social work in the area of downtrodden. Their activities help the people to get awareness towards Literacy, Hygiene, Mental Health,Public rights, Child labour,Sexual Harassment and so on. These activities are very much helpful for empowering the society. I wish them all success.

This health Education activities done by EMPOWER TRUST helps building knowledge among underprivileged of the society on Health Consciousness, Prevention of diseases and awareness about health accessibility.
